Summary: Well, it's alot less "nu" sounding than "Angel Of Retribution"!!!
Review: Okay, this for sure has a mall metal, or nu metal, influence like so many claim. However, why are some of these same fuckwits claiming the new (NU) JUDAS PRIEST doesn't have influence from this crap??? Actually, I'd rather be rope-tied and glued to a chair with this blasting in my ears against my will for 10 years straight than listen to the new JP album!!! We can't forget about those shitty alternative albums METALLICA made some years ago, so that made me wonder why I even bothered trying to hear this!! Still, at least this has some old METALLICA sounds in it. In particular the track "Some Kind Of Monster", which sounds just like something from "AJFA" or "MOP", just that they're de-tuning their guitars now-a-days (not as much as JP though)!! But overall, the nu metal influence on this album is too much for my liking. The biggest complaint is of course the snare sound. IT'S A JOKE!!! That head has to be one of the CHEAPEST money can buy!!! Yes, it really does sound like he's using an actual trash can for his snare!!! Ugh, that alone made me deduct 30 points!!!
