Kite's Weekly ReviewAs always,"At a Glance" is just a basic skim of the character, nothing more. Name FUBAR Madlibs Creator Banquo Kit None Team Freelance Villain Sex N/A Strength Weak Agility Superior Body Weak Mind Supreme Mind Control Superior - Auto-hit Pheromones Superior Spider Climb Standard Communicate with Cybernetics Standard Induced Sleep Standard No real attack, no real defenses, if you just run over the character from an "at a glance" perspective you're obviously going to miss something. But we can grab a general gist from here. Basically, it's madlibs. Nothing more, nothing less. Question is, can he pull it off? From a first look perspective, I'm giving it a 6/10 A truly original concept. The entire FUBAR ranks apparently worked on this one. It has a nice story premise, the reader can make the character anything it likes by simply filling in the blanks. For once, the reader has to think and make his own story, making him as much a part of the character as the writers. A clever ploy. For finally doing something unique in the FPL, 3/10 The Powers You know you want to... Mind Control Superior - Auto-hit Madlibs are addicting. Ever sat back with a book of them? That's what this power represents. Finish the story, fill in the blanks...I'm almost considering printing out this character sheet and giving it a go. Love the Magazine Pheromones Superior This power pretty much covers what everyone ends up doing with Madlibs. Creating a dirty, dirty madlib. We've all done it, don't be ashamed. I know I personally filled in some rather vulgar things into those Sluggy madlibs they had not long ago. It's a sick, twisted, and all in all funny power. Crawl up the walls.... Spider Climb Standard A very, very out there power. Fill in the blanks however you want, apparently something sticks to something else. I feel it takes the overall feel of FUBAR and puts it to a Madlib rather well. Not my favorite power thus far, but still interesting. Even work it Online... Communicate with Cybernetics Standard yes...very, very FUBAR...I'm rather confused after reading this power. Very FUBAR. And I said to him... Induced Sleep Standard A long, boring Madlib. Which is the point of the power, obviously. A boring Madlib will make you more disinterested in my experience though. May just lead the reader to destroy their copy... This is purely a concept character. It'll never win a battle on powers. Ever. If you're looking for a character with nice powers to fight another character, then you're voting against this character. For no strength, but solid comedy, which doesn't effect this catagory 4/10 Overall FUBAR Madlibs is a good concept character. Nothing that will forever go down in FPL history, I don't think, but still, and interesting character. It's clever, witty, but sometimes being clever just isn't enough.
