Random Character Review!

by MrKite

This is MrKite's first Random Character review in what will hopefully be a series!
Keep in mind he picked someone completely at random out of the new batch of characters the same day I put them up. That's the MO, so sit back, and enjoy.

Aana Blüdkreüz

Ok, first time I've done this, so bear with me...first thing's first, stats at a glance.

At a glance
---------------
- Quick note, the "at a glance" category is not meant to be perfect, it's meant to be a first look, a quick skim over the character before it's read - as alot of times, this is the only thing seen in the FPL, as there are so many characters and nobody's going to read every character, I think this deserves a spot.
Name: Aana Blüdkreüz
Creator: Vina Calii
Kit: Cyborg
Team: The Fallen
Sex: Female
Strength: Supreme
Agility: Standard
Body: Standard
Mind: Standard

Self-Duplication: Standard
Regeneration: Ultimate
Spellcraft: Superior - area effect, seeker, multi-attack
Energy Wave Surfing: Standard

So, basically, Aana relies heavily on attack, bringing in multiple versions of herself, and a very limited defense, but ultimate regeneration, so as long as you don't blast her to pieces, she'll keep coming back. Aana's only true attack, so far as I can tell at a glance, would be the spellcraft, which obviously chases it's victim, forms in an area around the victim, and keeps on attacking. The powers alone show a true powerhouse of a character.

for strong power, an ability to keep coming back, but a limited defense to attacks that could rip her to unregeneratable pieces, 8/10

The Character
-------------------
-This section mainly looks at the descriptions, the set-ups, and how well the character is written. Alot of the time, a concept can more than make up for bad powers, or vica versa.

Alright, so here's the skinny of Aana. There are these people, these "men in the sky", which remind me alot of the devil in many ways, who, as far as I can tell, want to do nothing but kill people. Been done, but, this is just the set-up for the character, so it's not as important. Aana was one of the many they killed to form "the blood", a being of pure evil that has no will but to kill. The blood, because it sensed Aana's hatred, chose her. At first, the men had control of Aana, but it's long been lost, and Aana's been striving to stop them. She controls the bloodlust of the blood, but still wishes for nothing more than the death of the men in the sky. Killer premise. Also, putting out historical dates gives you a stronger sense of what the character's been through. That's also known as the "Hey, I know that!" trick.

For good writing, a good catch, and a great hook, I give the bio a 9/10

The Powers
----------------
-A character is nothing without at least a decent power scheme. Powers should be an extension of a character, and usually make up what a character is.

Rebirth
Self-Duplication: Standard

Basically, every time someone DOES blow her to those aforementioned tiny Aana pieces, she comes back in a new way. Interesting twist, as she can continue to respawn over and over.

Bloodflow
Regeneration: Ultimate

You can kill her, she comes back. Then, boom, a new body's built. This is the job of regeneration, to reform the body. She has a very limited defense, but the ability to be reborn from her own ashes more than makes up for it. A very solid combo.

The Blood
Spellcraft: Superior - Area Effect - Seeker - Multi Attack

This is probably the most sinister power of the blood. It can do anything. On top of everything, it's got supreme strength to go with it, making a powerhouse of an attack. Such a versatile villain is truly hard to overcome.

Bloodwave
Energy Wave Surging: Standard

Though the description doesn't say it directly, it doesn't have to. The blood carries her wherever they need to go. And the style this was described in sends shivers down my spine.

For well thought out powers, and an ability to change with its surroundings, making it impossible to form a strategy against, the powers get a solid 10/10

Overall
----------

Aana shows what a true FPL character should be. Strong, effective, versatile, but most importantly, moving. Overall, Aana gets a 9/10
