The Eagles, who can lay claim to the biggest selling greatest hits compilation of all-time with Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, will see their catalog condensed and released as a box set on Nov. 14.

   The Eagles: Selected Works 1972-1999 will feature the band's work over the span of four discs, three of which will cover hits and other notables. The final disc features tracks from the band's previously unreleased 1999 New Year's Eve concert in Los Angeles.

   The twelve songs from disc four will also be made available for download at eight e-retailers: Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, TWEC.com, CDNow, Borders.com, Checkout.com, Tower Records.com and Musicland.com. The box will also feature two "hidden tracks" and a forty-page booklet with rare Eagles photos and an Eagles essay penned by Rolling Stone editor David Wild.
