THE END OF ANOTHER YEAR ALREADY
I don't know about you lot but I don't know where this year has gone. It must be our age (Lipstick Torpedo are collectively approaching 150 years between them!) but the years tend to fly past ever quicker these days...it seems we are just getting over New Year and some bugger's advertising Christmas cards already.
I suppose all this flummery is just an excuse for not updating the website since the summer, truth be told I couldn't be arsed.....get on Facebook you luddites, updates come fast and furious on there.
Anyway, I thought I had better let you know of the last few gigs of 2009......Saturday 5th December finds us back at the lovely Kings Langley Services Club over Watford way. Saturday 12th December we will be at The Roundabout Club in Sandy up there in Bedfordshire and on Saturday 19th December we will be back at The Red Lion in Enfield for the annual Christmas knees-up.....a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
....And that pretty much wraps things up for another year (and indeed another decade.....as we bid goodbye to the noughties). No New Years Eve gig for us this year as Meteor-Storm will once more be playing the itinerant troubadour in France, but we have many treats lined up for you in the new year including a few new venues in such far flung places as Harlow, details will emerge on the dates page as and when I can be bothered to put them up.
What was that? "what is my New Year's Resolution going to be"? Well the same as the last few years I suppose........to keep the website updated more often..............Ha ha ha ha ha *runs off into the night laughing maniacally* !!!
Toodle-oo for now and a Merry Christmas to you all as it's very unlikely I'll update this bloody thing again this year!!!
