Yeah, I have ups and downs. But God's given me a lot of talent to play the game. My faith is very important to me. Being a witness to Him is my
biggest key. Coming out here and honoring and glorifying Him on and off
the field. It doesn't take away from the way I play the game.
Hopefully people see me playing on the field and see how hard I go about
it. And being a Christian witness on the field can be difficult sometimes,
because people don't think we can go out there with all you've got.
Hopefully people see the way I live my life and know how important God
is to me off the field also.
It's the ultimate peace. I think people struggle and look for that one thing
in their life to carry them through. Jesus Christ is that answer.
I've always had a simple life. I've never needed a whole lot of stuff, but
everything now is so accessible. However, I have a great desire to live a
successful Christian life. In no way am I a scholar of the Bible, but I just
want to share with others what I believe and be real with them, letting the
Lord just work through that."
I'm going to continue to work hard. Hopefully, God will be glorified through
everything I do. That's all I want.
