THE FiTTS (formerly The Station)

THE FiTTS just fell together through long nights drinking at the local saloon, a wedding of a fellow musician, and common coincidence of old friendships renewed.
Back when they were The Station they went through a musical change when they worked with Musician/Producer Davy Vain. Davy has opened for the likes of Guns N'Roses and Skid Row. Davy has also produced VUE's two albums on Sub Pop Records and whom recently signed with RCA. He is also recieving two Platinum Records for his engineering work on Christina Aguilara's new single "Beautiful" and VUE's single on "The Sopranos Soundtrack. THE STATION finished recording their full length self-titled 10 song LP which was released in December 2002. The self-titled album was mastered by Bernd Burgdorf is now "out of print" and there are limited numbers left at: www.cdbaby.com/station It should attract some industry ears.

"I hear lot of music and The Station CD really hit me. It is brilliant!!!"
- Kevyn Bridgeman of
Transistor Radio Productions (SF)
Don Gallardo
Don plays guitar and sings lead vocals plus writes the songs in THE STATION. Don has been writing songs for over 15 years and has written over 300 songs. At a very young age Don was introduced to many different styles of music and knew that music would be his life long occupation. The new songs that Don has been writing keep the band in a continual metamorphism. Some songs are just plain Rock while others have a Rock/Pop flavor to them.
Darren Nelson
Darren, who has been playing music for over 15 years, is a newcomer to the band. Darren is the 3rd guitar player which opens up the music, alot!!. He also sings which adds a great harmony to the other vocals. Darren is from outside of Boston, MA. He left Mass. about 5 years ago in pursuit of musical dreams. His band at the time, JUMBO, had all moved west and created a good name for themselves. Jumbo defunked in 2002. Darren adds a great depth to the music. His personality fits right in with the band who welcomes him with open arms!

Joey Midnight
Joey Midnight has been playing music for over 17 years. He has been in numerous bands in the Bay Area and can play a handful of instruments. Joe plays Lead Guitar in THE STATION. He grew up listening to The Rolling Stones, (old)Van Halen, & AC/DC so you know his guitar playing meanders in and out of each song with perfect balance. Joe adds great depth to The Station's California Rock sound.
Lee Bittner
Lee has been playing drums for about 15 years and has been around music his whole life. His father Lee Sr. was the drummer for Big Brother and The Holding Company. Lee Jr. played in a band called Garnish for the 4 years prior to joining THE STATION. Lee adds great style to THE STATION sound.
"PRESS"

"The Station rocked the house as singer Don Gallardo's voice resonated. He blew into a harmonica and strummed along on acoustic. Guitarist Joey Midnight boasted a great tone as he played solo on an orange and black Gibson Les Paul."
