May
1986 Brian returns to the continent for a solo tour, mainly in youth clubs,
after which he builds up a new band with the crème of Belgian musicians: Dirk Van Gansbeke (ex-Luna Twist, Jo Lemaire, K13 etc.) on drums, Fons Symons (ex-Skyblasters, K13, The Scabs) on bass, Wigbert Van Lierde on guitars and Kosmos on keyboards. |
| Recordings
of a new LP are started in Studio Aaltrack in Belgium, with as usual Kosmos as sound man. Also Patrick Riguelle came to enjoy the scene, putting some nice electric guitar on 'Situations'. |
|
After a lot of pretty wild concerts spread out over the following years,
Brian releases his third album with this extra-ordinary 'Bukowski Brothers'
set up:
'Falling From Grace' /Free Space Records
/1989. Melancholic folk songs alongside electric rock tunes,
all by Nelsons hand, make his repertoire difficult to categorize.
During the same period Dirk Van Gansbeke and Fons Symons start up K13,
a rock band with Tom Thienpont and Riguelle, that takes off at an accelerating
pace
in the Belgian rock scene. Brian also keeps playing solo gigs in pubs and
youth
clubs throughout the seasons.
![]() Around '88 the original duo Brian & Wigbert is back in demand again. |

In 1990 a small tour with G.T Moore on the scene follows. After some gigs done together, Wigbert gets to busy with his solo career. Brian chooses to stick to this 4-piece band: |
